WHAT WE BELEIVE

Jesus
God manifested in the flesh according to 1 Timothy 3:16 and in him dwelled the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9) God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God and the Word was made flesh. (John 1:1, 14)
Isaiah 9:6
Matthew 1:23
John 14:6-9
John 5:43
Hebrews 10:20

God
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him much worship him in spirit and in truth.(John 4:24) God is invisible unless He chooses to manifest Himself in some form visible to man. God told Moses, “Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live” (Exodus 33:20) “No man has seen God at any time.” (John 1:18; 1 John 4:12) But God reveals Himself to us today through His written Word. That’s why we feel it is so important to be faithful to church attendance, so we can receive teaching and instruction to better understand God and His plans for our lives.
1 Timothy 6:16
Colossians 1:15
1 Timothy 1:17
Hebrews 11:27

Holy Ghost
The Holy Spirit is simply God. God is holy (Leviticus 11:44; 1 Peter 1:16) In fact, He alone is holy in Himself. God is also a Spirit (John 4:24), and there is only one Spirit of God (1Corinthians 12:11; Ephesians 4:4). Therefore, “Holy Spirit” is another term for the one true God. The Spirit is revealed and received through the name Jesus. He is not a separate person with a separate identity who comes in another name. Jesus said, “The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name” (John 14:26). The Spirit is mentioned throughout the Old Testament beginning with Genesis 1:2. Peter tells us that the prophets of old were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:21)
Acts 2:24; Romans 8:11
Romans 4:17; Romans 8:11
John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21
We believe that God is Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Spirit in regeneration.

Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
2 Timothy 3:16, 1:13
2 Peter 1:20-21
Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6
Proverbs 30:5

Human Beings
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.
Genesis 1:27
Psalm 8:3-6
Isaiah 53:6
Romans 3:23
Isaiah 59:1-2

Salvation
There is a universal need for salvation “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:9-12) Salvation is only through an active faith in Jesus Christ. “Repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15) The gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, simply believing the gospel does not save us it is our response to the gospel that puts us in a right relationship with God. “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed”?..Unto what then were ye baptized? (Acts 19:2-3) “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5) “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38)
Acts 8:15-17
Acts 9:17-18; 22:16
Acts 10:43-48
Acts 19:1-6
Romans 6:1-7
1 John 5:8-10

Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Romans 6:23, 8:17-18
Revelation 20:15
